Quick & easy pea & avocado raw dip

This spicy bright green pea and avocado dip really brightens up my lunches! It packs a grogeous kick from the chilli while being light and mouse like in texture. It's also packed with protein from the garden peas.

Chilli, lime and corriander are such gorgeous flavour combinations used in many dishes accross the world.  The corrinader is fragrant and light, the lime sharp citrus that cuts through the recipe and the hot punch from the chilli make many dishes irresistable. I could enjoy this combination every day!

Spicy pea & avocado dip with lime, chilli & corriander

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 avocado

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 cup peas (defrosted)

  • 1 small red chilli

  • Couple of sprigs of coriander

  • Pinch salt

You Will Need

  • Blender

  • Sharp knife

  • Small dish for the finished dip

Recipe Instructions

  1. Slice the avocado into 2, (discard the seed) and place into the blender with the peas and a pinch of good quality salt. Add the lime juice. Blend together until smooth and creamy. If the lime was small you may need to add 2-3 tbsp water for it to blend well.

  2. Fine chop the chilli and coriander saving a little of each and stir them into your dip.

  3. Pour the dip into the dish you chose and sprinkle with a little chilli and coriander leaf over the top to garnish.

TIP

Keeps well covered and in the fridge for 2-3 days. Great together with crackers, sliced vegetables or as a spread!
